Working with Richard
It was such a pleasure to work with Richard Hoey. Having a research strategy is so important for a smaller charity with limited research budget. Deciding what should be in it wasn't too tough but effectively communicating the 'why' was challenging. Having Richard's support was brilliant – an expert in both comms and strategy development, just what we needed.

I'd like to say a big thank you to the amazing project team that delivered this work... the remarkable Richard Hoey (who contributed a huge amount to every element of this project and kept me going throughout!); and of course people with MND, their families and carers - we couldn't have done it without you.

It was great to be in a room today with some of the Muscular Dystrophy UK services and support team facilitated by Richard Hoey to answer some key strategic and operational questions. It’s been a pleasure work with Richard Hoey as he conducted MDUK’s services review and I look forward to delving in deeper to the recommendation that have emerged.
