Reviewing activities against strategy

Health charities need to know they are having an impact for their communities. Every so often, they will want to review their work to see if it is meeting their strategic goals, or whether it is time to change direction.

At Amplify Science, we support health and research charities in assessing their activities against their strategic ambitions. We can offer the extensive experience of founder Richard Hoey, who has held various senior leadership roles in health and science, including executive board and trustee positions at research charities.

We sometimes review a charity’s activities once a new strategy is in place, to help judge whether the organisation is on track to deliver on its ambitions. Or we do research and analysis as part of the discovery phase of strategy development, so charity leaders are armed with the insights they need to take decisions.

Either way, we seek to understand a charity’s work in the round, drawing not only from data analysis but also interviews and focus groups with leaders, staff, external partners and the charity’s community.

We support a charity’s leadership with strategic and operational recommendations which can help turn ambitions into impact.
